The Public Information Office (PIO) functions as the public relations arm of the city by assisting departments, the mayor and the city council in communicating the goals and activities of city government to the city's many publics, both internal and external.
PIO also partners with Information Technology Services in supporting phoenix.gov, the city's official Web site, and oversee's the city's official Facebook page.
