Councilman Bill Gates will host office hours by appointment only from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, at the Cowden Center at John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital, 9202 N. Gates and his staff also will host a casual holiday mixer to meet and mingle with District 3 neighbors from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, at the Central Grille, 8525 N. Central Ave. No formal presentation will be given; however, city staff will attend to answer any questions or issues.

Residents are asked to bring to the mixer donations of hygiene products (shampoo, soap, deodorant, etc.) and gently-used towels for the Vista Colina Family Shelter.
