Councilman Bill Gates invites north Phoenix business owners and businesses in the Paradise Valley Mall/Tatum Boulevard corridor to participate in a roundtable discussion about what the city of Phoenix can do to more effectively address their business needs.  The open discussion will take place from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at the Theatre Artists Studio, 4848 E. Cactus Road.   

Staff from the city’s Community and Economic Development Department will provide an overview of Small Business Assistance Programs and the Planning and Development Department will highlight the new Office of Customer Advocacy and improvements to the planning process.  Coffee will be provided.  

Since 2010, Councilman Gates has been meeting with businesses, property owners and brokers throughout District 3, and is working to encourage economic development in the district and throughout Phoenix by assisting businesses with their needs.  The Councilman represents an area in north Phoenix that includes the Moon Valley, Paradise Valley Mall and Sunnyslope areas.
