The department hosts the free events from noon to 1 p.m. on the third Friday of the month in the Phoenix City Council Chambers, 200 West Jefferson St. The series allows city staff and members of the community to learn about and enjoy diverse facets about our community. Monthly Business Certification Workshops

EOD conducts monthly certification workshops for small business owners interested in doing business with Phoenix. Workshops are held at locations throughout the city, including all eight City Council districts, Phoenix City Hall and other city facilities.

Certification ensures that small business owners have an equal economic opportunity to participate in city business projects. The department hosts the instructional sessions to provide technical assistance to firms in completing the application process.

Spanish Language Certification Workshops

Two of the monthly sessions are held in Spanish for those who would prefer to attend a Spanish language workshop. These are held in the spring and in the fall. Check the workshop schedule below for dates and times.
