Council Subcommittees
Councilman Nowakowski serves on two City Council Subcommittees:
- Downtown, Economy and Aviation Subcommittee, member
This Subcommittee reviews the overall development of the city’s downtown core including the development of the downtown hotel and convention center, issues related to the economic growth and strength of the city, the city’s support of sports and events related to sports, the continued development of Sky Harbor Airport and the Deer Valley, Goodyear and Phoenix Gateway airports and support for city international relationships, small business programs, equal opportunity and diversity. - Neighborhoods, Housing, Historic Preservation, Arts and Culture Subcommittee, member
This Subcommittee reviews policy issues related to neighborhoods, including special neighborhood initiatives, development of housing citywide, historic preservation, arts and culture.
