Deputy City Manager Jane Morris oversees the Public Transit Department, the Office of Arts and Culture, the Phoenix Convention Center and Metro Light Rail coordination. Ms. Morris is also the lead staff liaison for the Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee.
Morris also leads a number of citywide initiatives, including strategic planning and volunteer program development. In her career with the city of Phoenix, she has served in the City Council Office and in the Community and Economic Development, Engineering and Architectural Services, and Aviation departments.
She earned her Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University and Bachelor of Science from the University of Iowa.
