The City of Phoenix Water Services Department will replace the existing sanitary sewer main along Broadway Road corridor with a new, larger main with increased capacity to meet future growth. The overall project has been broken into four segments:

Segment 2A: Broadway Road from 51st to to 31st Avenues and along Wier Avenue from 43rd to 35th Avenues Completed
Segment 2B: Broadway Road from 31st to 10th Avenues Completed
Segment 2C: Broadway Road from 10th Avenue to 17th Street -August 2011 - October 2012
*Segment 2D: Broadway Road from 17th to 32nd Streets
Construction activities for each segment will require traffic restrictions and occasional road closures involving construction equipment and personnel to be present in the work zone. Residents are asked to keep themselves and the work crews safe by following all traffic control signage and adhering to the reduced speed limit and parking restrictions.
