The Community Programs and Community Liaison Units perform specific functions to ensure positive relationships between the community and the Police Department. The Community Programs Unit of the Phoenix Police Department is comprised of the following: G.R.E.A.T. Regional Training, G.R.E.A.T. Local, D.A.R.E., Silent Witness, Explorer Program, and G.A.I.N. Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods.
