Infill Incentive District - Status of Code Amendments
On an on-going basis, the city will be examining various codes and ordinances for potential modifications. This includes examining, initiating , and streamlining development processing and standards found within city codes and ordinances. The following is a list of amendments scheduled or currently under development by city staff:
Zoning Ordinance
Modifies Single Family Design Review by establishing design guidelines for development of individual lots and small duplex projects. Single Family Design Review for all lots under 65' in width (TA-12-05) Part I: Prohibits adult uses in the DC and W districts. Part 2: Prohibits adult uses in the Downtown RDA (TA-9-04) Vacant Property Fencing Amends Section 202 of the zoning ordinance regarding the definition of a story (TA-8-04 under development) Amends Section 705 (Signs) of the Zoning Ordinance to create a different standard in the infill incentive districts for visibility triangles (TA-9-05 under development) Amends Section 202 of the Zoning Ordinance regarding the definition of an off-site constructed dwelling unit and to Section 608 (Residence Districts) to incorporate the existing requirements and hearing process for off-site constructed dwelling units (TA-10-05 under development) Amends Section 702 of the Zoning Ordinance regarding use of tandem parking, on-street parking for commercial and guest parking, reductions in required parking for smaller dwelling units and affordable housing and parking standards for reuse of buildings (TA-11-05 under development)
